For more than twenty years, I worked for a chemical and waste company, rising to the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Director.  During that time, I was involved in IPC, health and safety, environmental management, quality systems and many aspects of personnel management.  I was also in charge of IT for a while.

Until recently, I was employed in a process engineering company in a consulting role carrying out process safety work such as chairing HAZOP studies, facilitating SIL assessments, etc.  Having taken early retirement at the end of March 2011, I am available for similar tasks from time to time - provided the work fits in with my out-of-work schedule!
